QL MODULAR CRANE PACKAGES
QL Modular Crane packages are pre-engineered, complete crane component packages utilizing cutting edge technology including the innovative LoadMate electric chain hoist. Variable frequency drives are standard on trolley and bridge motions for smooth starts and stops. Plug-in electrical cabling* and bolted structural connections simplify assembly.

QL BRIDGE CONTROLS STANDARD FEATURES:
- Standard inverter offers two speed or
infinitely variable speed control.
- CSA c/us approved NEMA 4 type/IP55
rated control enclosures
for indoor use.
- Mainline disconnect switch (mounted in door)
- Mainline contactor
- Plug-in connections* for easy assembly and maintenance.
- Control transformer with fused secondary
- Supports 208, 230, 460 or 575/3/60 power
supply - 115 volt control voltage is standard
(48 volt is optional)
- Supports 380/3/50 power supply - 48 volt
- Slow down bridge traveling limit switch
HOIST CONTROL OPTIONS:
- Variable frequency drive hoist control provides precision hook positioning LM10 frame size only.
- Tandem control for simultaneous or independent control of two similar hoists on bridge.
- Hour counter for scheduled preventive maintenance as well as hoist SWP (Safe Working Period) calculations.

CRANE ELECTRIFICATION PACKAGE FESTOON SYSTEM:
- PVC flat cables are UL listed and CSA
approved with a temperature range
of -31ºF
to +221ºF (-35ºC to +105ºC)
- Suspended from galvanized steel C-track
- Galvanized steel cable trolleys with steel and plastic cable supports
- Plug connections* on cables make installation, repair and replacement simple
and fast, saving expensive down time and the cost of an electrician
- All movements can be controlled from a convenient, easy-to-reach plug-in pushbutton
station (8 buttons including emergency stop button)
- Independent C-track for pendant station allows operator to be positioned at
a safe distance from load
* Plug-in connections may not be available for
packages with spans over 62 ft (19m)
or 208 or 230/3/60 power supply.

manufacturing techniques ensure safe operation, consistent quality and longer component life. It adds up to exceptional value - hoist equipment that saves on maintenance, repair and downtime costs over its lifetime.
Flexibility to Meet Your Exact Requirements
R&M LoadMate® electric chain hoists offer
a range of choices for a wide variety of
applications.
- 1/2 ton to 5 ton capacities with ASME duty ratings [500 kg - 5,000 kg] with FEM duty ratings
- 10, 15 and 20 ft. [3,4,5,6m] lifts
standard; additional lifting
heights available up to
150 ft [46 m] single-fall, 75 ft.
[23 m] two-fall.
- Two speed, three phase
hoist motors and controls.
- Lift speeds from 12/3 fpm [3.6/0.9 m/min]
to 32/8 fpm (speeds
reached with 60Hz
power supply).
- Hoist motors are class F insulated, 50%
effective duty rated.
- TMU trolley drive unit with inverter controls.
- Standard trolley inverter offers two-speed or
2-step infinitely variable speed control.
- Trolley control panel integrally mounted to the
motor.
- Trolley brake, bumpers and drop lugs are
standard.

LoadMate® hoists are designed to run cool and maximize the life of gears, brakes and motors. Longer component life means less maintenance, less downtime and lower repair costs.
- Sealed brake keeps out lubricants.
- The hoist brake and load limiter are both
adjustable and adjust independently of each
other.
EASE OF OPERATION
Innovative design enhances versatility and ease of use
- Premium-grade, AGMA rated * precision gearing
contributes to the hoist’s compact, low-headroom
design, low noise level and smooth operation.
- Integral hoist control panel encloses all electrical components (hoist contactors, transformer, terminal
strips, etc.) and is easily accessed for maintenance.
- Easy trolley mounting attachment meets various application requirements. Slot in
top of hoist body allows easy changeover of top hook, push trolley or motorized trolley mountings.
- Crown tread wheels standard on trolleys, for use on standard I-beams and wide flange beams.
