When added to a crane, the ControlMaster Anti-sway System allows the operator to move a load from one place to another without creating load sway, no matter how high it is lifted. PARTICIPANTS ATTENDING R&M's SPACEMASTER^® SX SERVICE TOOLS 101 CLASS toured R&M's plant and met with R&M personnel to better understand internal operations. The course covered an R&M introduction, web site distributor tools, duty classifications, wire rope hoist products, order options, technical tips, endtrucks and the multiple modular crane packages offered by R&M. This class offers all the basic knowledge, as well as countless inside tips and resources, for our distributors to confidently and accurately sell our products.

STAGEMAKER SERVICE 101 (1/2 DAY SESSION): Join us the day before LDI in Orlando, Florida! Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Residence Inn - Orlando Convention Center, 8800 Universal Blvd., Orlando, Florida.

Two 1/2 day sessions offered (choose 1): Session 1: 8:30 - 11:30 am — Session 2: 1:30 - 4:30 pm

This is an all-inclusive, free course that provides training on all service aspects of the Stagemaker electric chain hoist. We will focus on the service, maintenance, and inspection plans for all technicians. Topics will include recommended maintenance and inspection routines; brake & clutch adjustments; basic electrical overview; and troubleshooting tips and service resources. Participants will be involved in hands-on training and exercises via working hoists and multiple parts available at the training.

The last twelve months have brought some positive changes to R&M’s Export Team.  We have established a solid team of multi-lingual inside and field sales professionals eager to assist our distributor network that currently spans 23 countries throughout the Americas.

In 2010 our Latin American sales increased more than 50% over the previous year and in 2011 we are on pace to increase another 50% over our 2010 sales figures.  Our success is due to the collaboration of our distributor network and R&M’s Export Team.   One example of this collaboration is the recent Latin America Technical Seminar held in Boca Raton, Florida, USA; where three of our distributors (Ferrum, Emaresa and Tertecman) gave technical presentations on areas of interest to our customers in Latin America.  Another example of this collaboration is the way our distributors, field sales managers and factory staff quickly and efficiently share information to provide the best solutions to our customers/end-users.
