QuoteMaster®, launched in 2000, gives the crane builder unmatched advantages in terms of optimal crane components configuration and pricing, comprehensive technical data, and a crane layout drawing, all of which are generated in a matter of minutes through a single calculation.

QUOTEMASTER^® QUOTATIONS

QuoteMaster^® generates a quotation with prices and detailed equipment description. The quotation shows individual prices of the main components and the prices of any selected equipment options, as well as the total price for the entire package. The quotation can be viewed or printed in several different languages. Crane components are optimally configured from the hoist and crane specifications that are entered into user-friendly interfaces and from pull-down menus. The equipment can be selected to CMAA/ASME or FEM standards, and dimensions and specifications can be entered in U.S. or metric units.

QUOTEMASTER^® DRAWINGS

QuoteMaster^® automatically produces an offer drawing for each quote calculation. The dimensioned offer drawing shows a basic, not-to-scale layout of the crane or monorail hoist. The offer drawing also includes general data about the crane or hoist. The drawings are saved in a Vertex format and they can be edited using the inclusive MicroVertex CAD software within QuoteMaster^®. The drawing can be easily saved to other formats such as DWG or PDF.

In addition, a scaled offer drawing can be generated on demand in a matter of minutes by using the Drawing Automation System feature in QuoteMaster^®. DAS uses the equipment information and specification from the completed quote calculation to create the layout drawing with all the components to scale. A DAS generated offer drawing also includes dimensions and general data about the crane or hoist. DAS requires Internet access.

QUOTEMASTER^® TECHNICAL DATA

QuoteMaster^® generates in-depth technical data for each quote calculation. The technical data includes, for example, a summary of component weights, crane and trolley wheel loads, crane electrical summary of power, currents and voltage, and much more. The technical data can be used to help in designing and engineering the runway structure and electrification.

ORDERING COMPONENTS

QuoteMaster^® has a unique EDI feature allowing the user to electronically transfer the equipment model codes and technical information in the quote calculation directly to the R&M production system queue for order processing.
