SX Service 101 (2-Days):
A basic course providing service, maintenance, and inspection plans to all service technicians who work with R&M products. Day one will provide participants with the necessary understanding of the R&M electrical components and the wiring diagram packet, including a break-down of the Bill of Materials, Cable Wiring, and wiring schematics. This full day of hands-on learning and exercises will include troubleshooting electrical repairs on an R&M crane and hoist in the simulation room adjacent to the training classroom.
On day two, the mechanical aspect of R&M standard wire rope products are covered in-depth, including start-up and installation procedures; key components of recommended regular maintenance and inspection routines; troubleshooting tips; and service resources. Tying in the electrical portion of the class, participants will be involved in a second full day of hands-on training, exercises, and simulated troubleshooting.

We'll discuss how to find order specific documentation, parts, and manuals all online for any R&M job your team is working on! You'll also learn how to find the right parts and order those parts online through this interactive, advanced web tool provided to all R&M distributors! We'll also go over sales & service of the HoistMonitor. Learn the benefits to your customers, and how R&M distributors can integrate this tools into their service departments, using it to better serve their customers, exceed the expectations of their contracts, and gain more business! (This ½ day addition will run from 8:30 - 12pm on the third day of the training session.)
All R&M courses will also cover a brief overview of R&M as company, current strategies, and goals; and also training on how to navigate and utilize the many resources on the R&M web site. In addition, participants will go on a plant tour and meet with the R&M personnel to better understand internal operations.
