HoistMonitor Basics (1/2-Day) (1:00 - 4:00):

This is a basic course providing knowledge and understanding of the R&M HoistMonitor electronic device to both sales and service employees.  This device can be added to the controls to help assure the safe operation of the hoist and crane by monitoring selected functions such as run time, number of starts/stops, safe working periods, and so much more!  It can also monitor and prevent damage to your hoist and crane during certain situations, such as overload protection, over-temperature of the motors, and more.

This half-day of learning includes plenty of information about the functions and benefits of the HoistMonitor, as well as many hands-on exercises, including start-up procedures, learning to navigate the display and parameters, setting the load calibration, and understanding the warning displays and values recorded by the system.

All R&M courses will also cover a brief overview of R&M as company, current strategies, and goals; and also training on how to navigate and utilize the many resources on the R&M website, as related to this particular course.  In addition, participants will go on a plant tour and meet with the R&M personnel to better understand internal operations.
